Born and raised in Kaimuki on the island of Oahu, I often heard my family and friends say, “Lucky we live Hawai’i.” It’s a local expression of how blessed we are to live in the beauty of the Hawaiian islands amongst a melting pot of cultures - where we all strive to live with Aloha.

Pat and I are grateful for everything that Hawai’i has given to us, and we are committed to donating annually to Hawai‘i-based conservation organizations to help preserve the natural beauty, community, and culture of our home. For a third year (since Nov 2021), Auntie Aloha will support these two impactful organizations and look forward to future partnerships as we continue to grow:

  • SUSTAINABLE COASTLINES HAWAII - Inspires local communities to care for Hawaii’s coastlines. Over the past 10 years SCH has removed over 670,000 lbs. of debris from Hawaii’s coastlines, united 42,000 volunteers, educated 45,000 students, engaged decision makers and social influencers, and reached millions of households globally through social media campaigns.

  • HAWAI’I LAND TRUST (HILT) - Protects and stewards the lands that sustain Hawaiʻi, and to perpetuate Hawaiian values by connecting people with ʻāina. HILT believes that we share a common destiny with the land, and the well-being of ourselves and our children depends on the health of the land. The future is our kuleana. Supporting HILT means continued protection of over 21,000 acres of Hawaii's most precious natural and cultural resources along with more future conservation.

MAUI ON OUR MINDS - We would also like to acknowledge the sadness, pain, and destruction from the Lahaina fires. Personally, we had family in Lahaina that lost everything. Our thoughts continue to go to Maui, and we’ll continue to donate directly to families impacted. The Lahaina people are still grieving, still finding a way to survive daily, and faced with a long road to recovery. We send our love and prayers to them!

Mahalo,
Marisa and Pat
